With over 15 years of experience tucked into his apron, Executive Head Chef Reuben Miceli stands at the forefront of all our culinary operations. Reuben started his career in the kitchens of top local and international five-star hotels before entering the world of event catering and successfully launching a new catering company. During this time, Reuben worked his way up the rungs of kitchen management, attracting some of Malta’s finest players to join his team.
Having completed his studies at the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS), Gordon joined Corinthia Group as a young chef back in 1992. Following over a decade in hospitality, developing his career including both culinary and management, being actively involved in operations within the various 5-star hotels operated by the group. In 2011, Gordon decided to move into event catering, and along with Head Chef Reuben Miceli launched their own catering company. The two chefs have been working alongside one another for over ten years.
Pastry Head Chef Robert Spiteri started his career right here with us at Corinthia. Exuding a passion for pastry and sweets for over 20 years, whilst working his way up the corporate culinary ladder, today Robert heads the pastry section, and is responsible for the preparation of all dessert items. Apart from his hands-on approach, Chef Spiteri has also fine-tuned his profession over the years by attending various courses held in Paris specialising in chocolaterie and petit fours.
